He may be revolutionizing marketing, and a year from now, this may be exactly what people are talking about in the book marketing world, but today, it’s easier to say that Guerrilla Publishing is about book propagation.
In the book, Derek expounds on some of the experimental techniques he has been using to quietly build large followings before book launches in order to create a targeted list of genre fans before he releases a book, then when the book is released, Derek offers it to his lists, and many of them become paying customers. Also, the importance of the list in generating early reviews for newly launched books is heavily stressed. Derek shows you how to do all this, and anyone can do it.

I have adopted the mantra Write For Readers since reading this book.

Let me just say that I have read about 20 books on the subject of independent self publiishing and the whole business side of being an independent author, and Guerrilla Publishing is in the top 3, along with the Kindle Publishing Bible by Tom Corson-Knowles and The Self Publishing Manual by Dan Poynter.
